National food security Act 2013

Dhanbad district has been implemented this Act from 25 September 2015. This system is fully computerised. PHH, Antyodaya and White Cards have been constructed under this scheme. Foodgrains are supplied to Antyodaya beneficiaries every month at the rate of 35 kgs of food grain per card and 5 kg of foodgrains per member to PHH beneficiaries.

In Dhanbad district, a total of 18,71,094 members have been covered by this scheme and 3,95,681 PH cards and 34,206 Antyodaya cards total 4,29,887 ration cards have been constructed. Cardholders are being distributed rice / wheat, kerosene oil and salt and sugar from time to time each month. Also 30,758 white ration cards have been constructed, kerosene oil is distributed every month for them. Apart from this, white ration cards for general families also generated and 2 liters of kerosene oil supplied to them every month.

PDS Control Order

The new rules have been prepared by the government under the National Food Security Act. Against which 1643 public distribution system 100% rule being implemented in the district.

ERCMS process

Under this process, beneficiary may visit departmental website aahar.jharkhand.gov.in and through ERCMS apply online for new ration card, ration card transfer, Adding new members, head change, correction of mobile number and bank account.

DBT Scheme

Under DBT scheme,the process of transfer of funds has been initiated in the account no. of cardholders from this month for direct benefit transfer for Kerosene Oil.

Conversion of Thela vendors into public distribution system shop

Departmental Resolution No. 2774 dated 27.06.2017 through which all kerosene oil thela vendors in the Dhanbad district have to be converted into a public distribution system shop. So far,now kerosene oil thela vendors applied for PDS shop out of which 150 kerosene thela vendors converted into PDS.

VIGILLANCE COMMITTEE

Monitoring and Monitoring Committee at Panchayat / Block / District level has been constituted for monitoring of public distribution system system

ePOS Features

Under this scheme, ePOS machine has been installed in all the public distribution system shops. Food distribution is given to all beneficiaries by biometric method every month

Supply Chain Management

Under this scheme complete computerized system of arrangement of food grains, storage and distribution has been done. All assistant warehousing managers are being made online through tabs.

Door Step Delivery

Under the National Food Security Act 2013,Food grains like Rice, wheat, sugar, salt are allocated and transported to the vendor’s stores through public distribution system through door step delivery. VTS system has been installed in the vehicles used in the transport work. Under the VTS system, the root chart of all the public distribution system shops has been prepared. Action is being taken to maintain online monitoring system.

PTG Dakiya Scheme

Under this scheme, food grains are supplied to 44 PTG family of the Topchachi block house to house by the Topchachi block Supply Officer, Mr. Venkatesh Sharma

Mukhyemantri Dal Bhat Scheme

Under this Scheme, more than 5000 people are get food per day at Rs 5 through 19 centers and In Dhanbad district two nights Dal Bhat center are run at Station Road and Steel Gate respectively

Annapurna Scheme

Under this scheme, 10 kg rice per month is provided to persons above 60 years of age having no ration card as well as Pension scheme

Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Scheme

This year 121909 families have been provided free gas connections. Of the 162326 applications, 143755 applications have been found to be correct. In which 127529 applicants SV have been issued and the installation process is being done.

Paddy procurement scheme

Under Paddy procurement scheme, 2394.17 quintals of paddy are purchased from
1011 farmers of Dhanbad district in the financial year 2017-18 and the amount has been paid to all farmers against the purchase of paddy. In addition, 14355.344 quintals of rice have been prepared and made available to FCI by CMR

Non-Lifted Ration Card , Duplicate Ration Card and deletion of ineligible Ration Card

Under this scheme, action is being taken to remove the non-lifted ration card,Duplicate ration card and ineligible ration card . So that the eligible beneficiaries who have applied online,the benefits of the NFSA scheme can be given.
